DER BIERGARTEN SACRAMENTO OKTOBERFEST 2022
Sacramento, United States, 13th Sep 2022, Each year the Midtown Sacramento restaurant named Der Biergarten celebrates the traditional German festival, Oktoberfest. This years event will be 9/24/22 from 3pm till 9pm.
The party was cancelled for one year due to COVID and has been scaled back the last two years to alow less customers and more distance between guests.
“Past years had as allow as many as 5000 people taking over the streets in Midtown Sacramento, outside of Der Biergarten. But being we are still thinking safety and realizing COVID is still with us, it is a good desision by the city again this year, said Sean Derfield, the organizer of Der Biergarten’s annual event”.
All the great German music will be played by the local German band The Alpinemeisters as well as DJ Eddie Z and MC Tommy G will play music and have fun with games during the band’s breaks.
From stein holding competitions called Masskrugstemmen, German beer, food and fun, this street party will have us enjoying the sun by day and stars by night.

Der Biergarten is located in Sacramento, California. It was the first cargo container bar allowed in the city and is 100% outdoors. It an outstanding spot to have parties, light food and beer with friends, or a place to walk your dog to. With 32 draft beers, cocktails, and light German food it has become a midtown destination. While they don’t have a dance floor, Televisions, or a sound system with music, they make it up with an urban biergarten atmosphere that will have you meeting people from all over the world as well as your neighbor for some great conversation.
